Luana Glenn Malise ... du Toit
"Luana" ... meaning "graceful warrior".
"Glenn" ... a restful place, a shaded
valley.
"Malise" ... servant of Jesus.
Each name was chosen with a purpose.
Phillip Anthony du Toit
"Phillip" ... meaning a lover of
horses. His name was
specially chosen with the double
"l", for the Phillip
in the New Testament. To our knowledge
however his
brushes with horses have actually
been few and far between!
"Anthony" ... watch this space for
more on this one! :-))
Mr and Mrs du Toit
The surname "du Toit" came to South
Africa with the
French Huguenots in the 1600's;
the famous Huguenot
Memorial stands in the beautiful
Cape ~ the couple's
chosen honeymoon destination.
Rose petals still strewn across
her train ...
The venue, Garden World in Honeydew,
was absolutely
beautiful. September is spring in
South Africa, and few
places could have made a more romantic
setting than this.
